Our Story

Uncle Purl produces masterfully knitted menswear inspired by yesteryear. Our design philosophy is centered in luxurious, natural materials, classic fits and reimagined vintage styling.

We're based in Los Angeles, California and each piece in our collection is infused with our laidback, effortless style. We believe in the ease of dressing and offer staple pieces that look as good as they feel.

We are committed to a plastic free operation in a move towards sustainability. We use only biodegradable packaging inside recycled cardboard mailers and create lasting garments from only natural or cellulose dominant fibers. Our pieces are fully fashioned and waste free - 95% of our yarn is used in knitting and the leftover is used in sampling or to set up our machines.

Our collection offers a range of polo shirts and sweaters inspired by pieces in our vintage archive, re-envisioned in the finest silk and alpaca yarns.
